Yesterday was Hard Lox, Asheville's Jewish food festival. Man oh man was everything yummy. Topher had a corned beef sandwich on rye and I ate some matzoball soup, frozen custard (it was SUPER creamy) and hamentashen. I snagged a bunch of recipes from a booth that had samples of food for every High Holiday.
After that Topher and I wandered around the Grove Arcade building which is a seriously beautiful building and we went to a veggie stall and bought local apple cider and d'arbol chilies. It was a nice fall day out.
Speaking of nice fall days, I snagged (with the help of Steed and her boy) a super awesome 148$ coat for less than 50$. Go me!
So there is really nothing else going on until November 8th when I go to Balitmore. Hopefully my uncle won't do any more stupid shit...which I know he will.
